Judge to Consider Throwing Out Reynolds-Harper Indictment!

Pretrial motions continued today for Michelle Reynolds and Richard Scott Harper. Normally, pretrial motion hearing are mostly procedural items, however; today’s hearing may have just gotten a little more important. Defense Attorneys filed a motion this morning to throw out the indictment based on the fact that one of the Grand Jurors that indicted the two back in September was not supposed to be there, his son was! William Connor Sr who’s birthday is 1955 served when in actuality, William Connor Jr, born in 1977 was to be the Juror. Connor Sr, an electrician with Temple Inland, thought the Jury summons was for him when he reported for Grand jury duty back in 2005. He testified that no one asked him his birth date or Social Security number which would have tipped off officials that this was not the right person. Judge J Bryant Durham recessed the court until 1:30pm. He is expected to rule on the motion to throw out the indictment at that time.
