Lindale Man Leads GSP On Chase Reaching 140Mph.
Georgia State troopers arrested a Lindale man after he led troopers on a chase through northern Floyd County.
36 year old Cedric Battle of S 3rd Street in Lindale fled troopers on GA 140 reaching speeds at and above 140 mph on his 1991 Yamaha FZ1000 motorcycle shortly after 5:35pm Saturday.
Battle has been charged with Felony Fleeing and attempting to allude, Speeding 140 in a 55mph, reckless driving, passing in a no passing zone, failure to yield, no tag and no insurance.
Battle has been released on bond from the Floyd County jail.
