Rome Cares Narrowing Down List For 211 Director.
Floyd County’s new 211 information line should be up and running with its new local director within the next month.
According to Emergency Management Director and Rome Cares Board member Scotty Hancock, the group is narrowing down its search for a new director and should be calling in their selected list for interviews soon
Hancock says they have received approximately 20 applications for the position and have narrowed that list down to a small group they plan to interview.
Rome Cares hopes to have a new director in place by the end of January.
