Marshals Make Arrest In Connection With Polk Murder.
Rome based US Marshals took Christmas off but were back at work with a vengeance Tuesday.
Marshals arrested five northwest Georgians on various charges and are housing all five at the Floyd County jail in Rome.
Benicio Baza of Smyrna, 33-year-old David Carter of Cedartown, 32-year-old Daniel Holden of Acworth, 43-year-old Eluid Rios of Marietta and 46-year-old Richard Shaw of Cedartown were all rounded up yesterday.
It is not clear if all five of the arrests are related but some of the arrests are related to an old murder investigation in Polk County according to officials.
