Police Capture Robbery Suspect.
Rome police have arrested one man and are looking for two others in connection with the beating and robbery of a person on Harvey Street in Rome Tuesday afternoon.
18-year-old Deaundre Martel Wade of a Gordon Avenue address was charged with robbery, battery and obstruction of officers.
Wade and two others supposedly knocked a man to the ground and stole $30 in cash from the victim’s pocket. When police later confronted Wade, he attempted to run but was captured after a short chase.
