Bartow Body Still Unidentified.
Bartow County authorities still don’t know the identity of skeletal remains found Sept. 25.
The unidentified remains were found in an area along Woodall Road off Highway 20 between Cartersville and Canton.
The FBI crime lab is now in possession of the remains. DNA samples were taken from family members in Tennessee of the person believed to be the victim, however, those samples were not sufficient for the FBI and different samples had to be taken.
The second set of DNA was sent to the FBI crime lab in December.
