Job Search To Begin From Scratch For Asst. County Manager.
With the arrested and firing of Floyd County’s most recent Assistant County manager, the search now begins anew for a replacement.
County manager Kevin Poe says he is reopening the job search for a new Assistant County Manager and will advertise the vacancy and completely restart the search from scratch.
According to Poe, with the open position, several of the various departments have taken on additional work to spread out the workload.
Poe hopes to have a replacement by sometime in April.
