Rockmart Teen Arrested For Child Molestation.
A Rockmart teenager was arrested in Rome Sunday, charged with child molestation and cruelty to children in the first degree.
Jeremy Michael Mantooth was arrested on the rear parking lot of the Riverside Baptist Church in Rome, having sex with a juvenile female who had been reported missing and was the focus of a search by local authorities.
Officers also recovered marijuana in the vehicle, leading to a possession charge against the Polk County teenager. He told authorities that he and the missing girl were boyfriend and girlfriend.
