Metro Makes Meth Arrest, Rome man Charged With Theft.

24 year old Dennis Lewis Miller of a West Point Drive address in Lindale was arrested by metro Task Force personnel in Rome Thursday night, charged with possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute.  Miller was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.  Details of the arrest were not available early this morning.

A  Rome man been arrested in conection with the theft of supplies at the site of the Rome Wastewater treatment plant expansion.  57 year old Robert Wayne Camp of a Dixie Park Drive address was charged with felony teft by takeing.  He is accused of taking steel nuts, bolts tubing and the like from the contactor, Atlantic Skanska, and selling the items for scrap.  Documents do not indicate how long the thefts may have been taking place.
