Calhoun Woman Shot In Head.

A domestic argument has lead to the apparent murder of a Calhoun Woman.

35 year old Wendy Russell was shot in the head after an argument with her husband, John Gregory Russell.

Witnesses told police they saw the husband with a gun in his hand shortly after hearing the shot.

Wendy Russell was taken to Earlanger Hospital in Chattanooga where she died Sunday morning.

The body has been sent to the GBI crime lab in Summerville for an autopsy.

John Russell is currently in the Gordon County jail charged with murder.
