Heritage Foundation Honors Many For Work.

The Rome Area Heritage Foundation has honored Cartersville developer Ron Goss for his work on the West Building on Second Avenue, Dr. Matt Mumber for work on the Cherokee Lodge Building. Mark Brewster, Larry Maxie and Julie Windler for work on the McCreary Market. The Floyd County Commission was also hornored for it’s efforts to preserve the old federal building on 1st Street. 

Suzanne Royals portrait of former first lady Ellen Axson Wilson was also unveiled at last nights ceremonies.  The portrait will ultimately de displayed in Washington DC..  Lance and Lori Walker got the award for best renovation of a private residence.
