Hollywood Baptist Church Celebrates 70 Years With Time Capsule Opening.
Members of Rome’s Hollywood Baptist church will celebrate their 70th anniversary by breaking open a piece of the past.
The church is planning a celebration on July 1st that will include a special guest speaker, Rev. Harvey Brown (Brown was the pastor when the church moved to its current location).
A time capsule that was sealed inside a brick wall of the church during its construction will be removed and opened. Church officials say they will also be collecting items to place inside a new time capsule.
