Female Trucker Update: Police Looking For Her Alleged Kidnapper!
Police: Looking For White Male, late 30’s with brown greying hair.
-Floyd County police and the GBI are now working with Virginia State Police as they investigate an alleged kidnapping of a female trucker off of Highway 411 and Norton Road Thursday night.
Floyd County police triangulated the coordinates of the woman’s cell phone and located her after a ground search involving a number of county units assisted by state troopers.
The still unidentified woman appeared to be in her 30s and has today, describer her attacker as a white male, late 30s to 40, about six foot tall with brown, greying hair.
The victim has been released from the Floyd Medical Center and is expected to remain in Rome through the evening before she returns to Virginia.
Floyd County police declined to say whether or not the woman had been sexually assaulted. The assailant is being linked to a white four door automobile, no make or model available.
