Kingston City Council To Take Out Loan.

The Kingston City Council conducted a special meeting Thursday and voted to take out a  $225,000 from the United Community Bank in Adairsville   

City Hall and other properties will be used for collateral.  The city has been staring a financial crisis head on since audit results in May revealed more than $140,000 in SPLOST funds have been misappropriated.

City officials later discovered several bills for the year had been unpaid.
