Police Release Sketch Of Suspected 411 Shooter.

Leesburg. Alabama authorities have released a sketch of a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on Highway 411 in Cherokee County.

47 year old Loretta Gilbert of Slackland, Alabama was driving her three wheeled motorcycle late in the evening on July 31st when a dark colored Chevrolet Jimmy pulled up beside her and fired several shots striking her four times.

Gilbert was airlifted to Earlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga with several gun shot wounds.

Police say the driver of the suspect vehicle was an older white male with graying hair; reports indicate that the actual shooter could possibly have been a younger white male, with blonde hair.

Officials say the dark Chevy Jimmy had a 31 County tag, which is the number for Etowah County Alabama.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted with the sketch with information from the victim.
