Firefighters Extinguish Fire At 610 Broad Street.
Firefighters responded to a reported fire Thursday morning just after 7am on Broad Street in downtown Rome.
When fire fighters arrived, the building, which was loccated at 610 Broad was filled with smoke. Firefighters made their way inside the structure and found a small fire in the back of the building and extinguished it.
According to officials, a small bin of old rags had caught fire. There is no word yet on what started the fire.
