Metro Task Force Bust Two For Cocaine

Metro Task Force officers carried out a search warrant to the Relax Inn on the Martha Berry Blvd. Wednesday night where they arrested two people for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. 

29 year old Shawn K. Foster of Calhoun and 22 year old Leighann L. Byers of a Garden Lakes Parkway address in Rome were arrested with a large quantity of cocaine that was being cut and packaged for redistribution. 

Both Foster and Byers are also being held for probation violations.
