Downtown Deck Could Be Tied To Hotel Addition
The addition to the Hawthorn Suites Hotel complex downtown may be tied directly to a new parking deck on the river.
Rome City manager John Bennett, says that developers want to tie levels of the hotel to levels of the 381 space deck.
The 381 space deck could be completed before the end of 2008.
Rome and Floyd Commissioners also gave their final stamp of approval to a comprehensive planning document for the community.
