Young Boy Shot In Hunting Accident
A hunting accident in Cedartown has sent one young boy to Egelston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta via Life- Flight.
According to sources, the boy was accidentally shot by his brother who had tripped and fallen, discharging his gun.
Relatives tell RomeNewswire that the young boy is now out of surgery and is in critical but stable condition. He was apparently shot in the abdomen.
According to Polk County officials, Life-Flight landed on Highway 278 near the “Country Store”.
Hunters are in the woods all over the Countybecause Saturday was the start of Dove season.
