Commissioners To Discuss Pouring Sanctions
Rome’s Alcohol Control Commission will conduct a special called meeting at 4:00 this afternoon during which they are expected to consider wine ordinance violations at the Prickly Pear and Alley Sports Bar.
Doug Pedrick, the owner of both establishments admitted to violating the liquor ordinance and at least one probably violation of the wine ordinance during a hearing last month, however the hearing was not designated to address wine related issues. Pedrick has filed a federal complaint against the city which revoked his liquor license and suspended his wine pouring license earlier this month.
The city commission will meet at 6:30 where it is expected to revisit the whole case.
