Annual Cheerleading Competition A Big Hit

A packed house crowded in front of the main stage at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds to watch the annual cheerleading competition.

The Rome wolves walked away with the coveted spirit stick and the Darlington Tigers came in a close second.

The cheerleading competition was hosted by Q-102’s Jim and Karly in the morning. The two held their own competition on the radio station’s website with Darlington winning that one with over 12 thousand votes.

Tuesday was the kick off of the 2007 edition of the Coosa Valley Fair. The Festivities will continue through Saturday night.
