Tax Commissioner To Retire Dec 31st
Local Tax commissioner Jim Ford made the announcement on Wednesday that his last day in office will be Dec 31st.
Ford has been the Floyd County Tax commissioner for the last 15 years and said he wants to travel more with his wife and spend more time with his grandkids.
Deputy Commissioner Kevin Payne will take over duties until the November 2008 election.
