Accident Traps Woman In Car On Wax Road, Second Accident Traps Driver In Silver Creek
Floyd County police, Fire and EMS responded to the scene of an accident on Wax Road at its intersection of Donahoo Road.
Emergency personnel had to remove the top of the vehicle to extract the woman who has been identified as Dionne Shultz of a Wax Road address.
911 traffic reported that the woman was not responding but she was conscious when rescue personnel arrived on the scene.
Shultz was taken to Floyd Medical Center where her condition is unknown.
A second accident has trapped a man in his vehicle near Ridgeview estates. Early reports indicate the man only suffered minor injuries but was trapped when his vehicle flipped.
