Georgia Power Wants 82 Million For Plant Hammond

The Development Authority of Floyd County has scheduled a hearing for November 6th at 9am to consider up to $82 million in bonds for Georgia Power’s Plant Hammond.

The utility is expected to detail it’s needs, and plans for the money during a meeting of the Development Authority of Floyd County next Thursday morning.

The public hearing will take place at law offices in the Sun Trust Bank headquarters on 2nd Avenue in downtown Rome.
