ACC To Hear From Pear, Alley, Requesting New Licenses
Rome’s Alcohol Control Commission meets tonight and will hear an application from Henry White Jr. for a beer, wine, and liquor-pouring license at the Prickly Pear on Broad Street.
Doug Pedrick lost a license to sell liquor and wine at the establishment recently after admitting to violating city ordinances with respect to liquor.
The ACC will also get a request from Debra McCrobie who wants to hold the licenses at the Alley Sorts Bar, which was hit with similar sanctions.
Pedrick is supposedly selling both locations after his bout with the city for bringing liquor to the establishments himself and not having it delivered by wholesale distributors.
Pedrick filed suit against the city in the US District Court in Rome, a case that is still actively pending before the court.
