Rome Residents Arrested For Drugs, One Charged In Shooting
30 yr old Derricus A. Haselrig and 32-year-old Tiffany Almon were arrested Sunday night, charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute crack.
Police officers arrested both suspects at an address on Reynolds Street.
Haselrig has also been charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in connection with an incident in north Rome on June 27th. He allegedly shot Shalamar Cunningham in a leg and took a 3.3 ct diamond ring during an altercation that occured four months ago.
Investigators did not specify how much cocaine they got from Almon and Haselrig last night, but did add that they confiscated a handgun from Haselrig, leading to additional firearms charges.
