Floyd Against Drugs Sponsors Town Meeting

As part of Red Ribbon Week activities, Floyd Against Drugs is sponsoring a Town Meeting to help educate the public on current, local trends in drug use and activity.
The family event will be held tomorrow, Thursday, October 25th, at 6:00 PM at the Rome Civic Center on Jackson Hill.
There will be something for everyone, with featured speakers from the Sheriff’s Department, the District Attorney’s office, and the Metro Drug Task Force. K-9 Sheriff’s Deputy Champ will be on hand, while entertainment will be provided by the Rome Middle School Chorus and the evening will be hosted by Q102’s Jim and Karli. Pizzas supplied by Papa Johns will be served.
