Wreck Victims Life-Flighted, One Stable But Guarded, One Critical
Two individuals that were involved in an accident on Cave Spring Street in South Rome have now been identified by Rome City Police.
The vehicle’s driver has been identified as Stanley Hamilton and the passenger has been identified as Bradford Carter.
The passenger, Carter was ejected from the vehicle and was found several yards from the wreckage. Hamilton was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by fire rescue personnel.
Both vicitms were life-flighted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga where Carter is listed in Critical condition and Hamilton is listed in stable but guarded condition.
Police say Hamilton lost control of his vehicle after attempting to pass another vehicle on a double yellow line.
