Armuchee Connector Scheduled To Get Underway Nov 2008

Work on the proposed Armuchee Connector is scheduled to begin in November of 2008. On Wednesday, area residents had an opportunity to ask questions about the road during an informational meeting at Glenwood School.

County Manager Kevin Poe says there are only about six property owners that would be directly impacted by the road.

The 2.2-mile proposed route would start as a two-lane rural road at Braves Boulevard. It crosses the Oostanaula River, changing into a four-lane on the east side of Old Dalton Road. The road would continue west about 300 feet south of Old School Road before intersecting with Highway 27, ending at Old Summerville Road.
