Floyd Trucker Busted, Runs From Officers
A Floyd County tractor trailer driver was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges stemming from a traffic stop on October 17th.
44 year old Gary Wayne Moon of a Looney Rd. address has been charged with possession of methamphetamines, giving police false information, obstruction and several additional charges.
He was pulled over for failure to cover wood ships on his truck and after admitting he did not have a license on him, gave the officer a social security number. When the officer went back to his patrol vehicle to check the number, Moon fled into a wooded area off the highway.
Police ultimately got accurate identification information from inside the truck and from the company that owned the truck and Moon was taken into custody Wednesday.
