Silver Creek Man Injured In Oct 20th Accident Dies From Injuries
A Silver Creek man who lost control of his vehicle on Old Cedartown Road while driving to work on October 2oth has died while in Chattanooga’s Erlanger Medical Center.
27 year old Nicolas Chad Hughes was on his way to work when he lost control of his vehicle.
According to police, Hughes was driving on Old Cedartown Road toward highway 27 around 7am Saturday when he apparently lost control of his vehicle causing him to slide 160 feet before leaving the roadway. His car continued another 52 feet before it struck a culvert causing it to go airborn, where it traveled another 52 feet and crossed Bowman Road, where the car stopped but the vehicle’s engine traveled another 104 feet before coming to a rest on Marion Dairy Road.
Hughes passed away on October 28th.
