Georgia Urban Forest Council Representatives Dedicate Tree
City of Rome officials along with representatives from the Georgia Urban Forest Council rode bicycles from downtown Rome 
to the are near State Mutual Stadium to dedicate a 3 cane River Birch tree that was recently planted.
Rome Municipal Arborist Terry Paige spoke to the group about the history of the tree and Rome’s desire to plant more trees. 
The group will be in town through Friday for a Georgia Urban Forest Council conference.
