Lindale Accident Sends Two To Hospital With Minor Injuries

An early morning accident has sent two Floyd County residents to Floyd medical Center with what appear to be minor injuries.

According to Floyd County police, the driver Laura Roden of Lindale was traveling on Park Avenue just after 6am when she swerved to miss a deer. Roden struck a power pole and flipped her vehicle on it’s side.

Police, fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene and had to cut the front window out of the vehicle to get her out.

The power pole was broken in half from the accident but it did not appear that any homes were without power.

No charges were issued in the accident.
