Working On The Railroad, New Tracks Being Added In Lindale
Norfolk Southern Railroad is anticipating additional freight traffic growth, therefore it is spending a large amount of money in southern Floyd County.
Robin Chapman in the railroad communications office says the railroad is adding a parallel line for a distance of approximately 2.6 miles from near the old Lindale mill.
He could not say how much the project is costing, or when the project might be completed.
