State To Promote Arts Related Tourism
State and private industry leaders seeking to take better advantage of the creative arts as a tourism tool in Georgia talked about common issues during a Town Hall meeting in Rome Tuesday .
Gilda Watters, Director of the Georgia Tourism Foundation presided over the meeting which was attended by close to 40 people representing a variety of organizations from Haralson to Dade counties participated in the meeting.
Watters says that NW Georgia may be ahead of the curve when it comes to organization of heritage tourism efforts.
