Rome Man Arrested On Drug And Firearm Charges
Rome-Floyd Metro Task force officers executed both search and arrest warrants at a home on E. 7th Street Tuesday afternoon, arresting 62-year-old William Albert Lambert on drug and firearms charges.
Lambert allegedly sold Lorcet to an undercover agent on November 9th and when officers showed up with the warrants Tuesday, they discovered a rifle and four handguns at his residence.
Lambert has been charged with possession of lorcet, a prescription narcotic with the intent to distribute as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
