Rome Airport in Solid Financial Shape
The Airport Commission which oversees Richard Russell Regional Airport in Rome is hoping that they could see some money from the FAA in their Christmas stockings. Airport manager Make Matthews calls it fall out money, funds allocated at other airports, but for unknown reasons, never used.
The Airport commission got a positive financial report Tuesday, learning that the aerial gateway to Rome is in the black by more than $36,000 through the month of October. Hangar leases will go up 3.5% in 2008.
