Murder In Howell’s Crossroads
Cherokee County authorities say one man shot and killed another over the weekend.
James M. Henderson was killed at his home in the Howells Crossroads community. Rodney J. Hood of Centre was taken into custody after wrecking his car while fleeing the scene.
Authorities have recovered what they believe to be the murder weapon. No indication at this time as to a motive for the slaying.
