Several Busted For Shoplifting

It’s not at all unusual at this time of year to see the number of shoplifting arrests go up, and so it was Sunday.

37-year-old Robert J. Broker of a Brookwood Ct. address in Rome was charged with shoplifting less than $300 worth of merchandise at the Super K-Mart. 17-year-old Lacinda A. Davis of a Wright Street address was likewise busted at the K-Mart, trying to take a little less than $100 worth of items. 25-year-old Anthony J. Smith of a W. Butler Circle address was charged with taking items from the west Rome Wal-Mart. 26 yr old Tara Taylor of Summerville was charged with stealing items at the Belk’s Dept. store and 32 yr old William K. Brock was arrested for taking close to $300 worth of stuff from the K-Mart.
