1 Arrested in North Rome Disturbance

An unidentified black male was arrested Saturday night for numorous charges stemming from a disturbance in the Main High Apartments Area of the NW Georgia Housing Authority.

According to Rome Police Reports, A Rome Police officer checked out with a disturbance around 6:45 PM on Green and Gold Blvd. Soon after, the officer asked for further assistance. Many law enforcement units assisted in the arrest including officers from the Rome Police, Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia State Patrol.

The male was transported to the Floyd County jail and booked on numerous charges. The investigation of what actually happened is ongoing.
