City Commissioners Get Committee Assignments
Rome City Commissioners found out their much anticipated committee assignments Monday.
Some of the notable assignments include the alcohol control commission that will be chaired by Commissioner Bill Fricks. Commissioner Jamie Doss and Duane Reid will also serve on the ACC.
Newcomer Milton Slack will chair the community development committee and serve on the General Admin, committee on committees, the international committee and the traffic/transit committee.
New commissioner Evie McNiece will chair the finance committee and the fire overview committee and the serve on the joint services committee, the redevelopment committee, the public works committee and the building inspection/planning overview committee.
The public safety committee will be chaired by Duane Reid while Kim Canada will sit atop the redevelopment committee.
