Man Arrested on Felony Theft, Fraud Warrants

An unidentified white male was apprehended at his residence on Turner Chapel Road early Sunday afternoon on various charges.
According to PFC Jenni Parson, Rome Police Detectives had obtained felony Financial Card Fraud and Theft by Deception warrants after he had stolen from a local business which was also his employer. The suspect had pawned the stolen equipment but was able to retrieve it after he was confronted by the company and given a deadline for it’s return. After the deadline passed, the crime was reported to the Rome Police who obtained warrants earlier this week and had been searching for the suspect this weekend.
A correct address was found Saturday night and PFC Parson along with assistance from Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies found the suspect at his home around 1:45 PM Sunday. The suspect was awaiting bond as of Sunday Evening at the Floyd County Jail.
