Cartersville Woman Killed In Kingston Accident
A Cartersville woman died in a two vehicle accident in Kingston over the weekend.
60 yr old Kay Marie Edson, of Cartersville was westbound on Highway 293 when she attempted to pass another vehicle. Trying to return to the westbound lane, she clipped the front end of the vehicle she was trying to get around, lost control of her vehicle, left the pavement and struck a tree.
Edson was taken to the Cartersville Medical Center, where she later succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
