Woman Accused Of Stealing Over 30,000 Dollars From Nursing Homes
A Trion woman was arrested by Floyd County police Wednesday night, charged with theft by deception for converting almost $30,000 from the Forum Health Care group to her own use.
Floyd County police indicated that 31 yr old Joanie Annette Henderson was a supervisor for the company that operated two nursing home in Floyd County.
She supposedly generated checks for therapists then converted them to her own use between March of 2005 and April of 2006.
The Forum group has since been fundamentally stripped of it’s patients by federal regulators and both facilities are now operating under new ownership
