More Job Losses As Adairsville Plant Moves Operations

Adairsville, almost on the verge of a commercial boom two years ago, didn’t get Cabelas, hasn’t gotten a Moms Bakery as promised and is now losing one of it’s manufacturers.

Stair Parts Inc., which was bought out by an Alpharetta company last May, is having their production moved from Adairsville to their Alpharetta plant.

The last data available showed Stair parts with approximately 60 employees and it is believed that close to three dozen workers will be laid off between now and June when the transfer of operations is expected to be completed.

The company already has an available sign on it’s front lawn.
