Northwest Georgia Becoming Bike Friendly

Northwest Georgia is getting on the map when it comes to being a bike friendly part of the country. New bike routes signs, involving 15 specific routes and more than 700 miles of roads and trails are going up across the ten county region.

Bill Moll says efforts are being made to create bike buddies in the business community. Moll is chairman of the Regional Development center’s Bike Ped Task Force.

More than 100 signs are slated to mark bike routes in the immediate Rome area.
