Cave Spring Resident Arrested After Metro Finds Suspected Meth Lab

A search warrant was served Thursday, March 27, 2008 by the Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force at a residence located at 1912 Magee Bend Road in Cave Spring. The search warrant service resulted in the discovery of a large functional methamphetamine lab with an estimated production capacity of one ounce of meth per “cook”.

The owner of the residence, Albert Cagle, 46, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking meth, possession with the intend to distribute, possession of meth, and possession of more than nine grams of pseudoephedrine. Additional charges are pending. Michael Lee Hill - 40, Barry James Hill - 41, and Walter Frank Graham - 57, were also charged similarly with Graham receiving an additional charge of abandonment of dangerous drugs.

A DEA certified HAZMAT team has been called to the scene to collect hazardous materials.
