Man Apprehended after Pulling Gun On Paramedics

A suspect was quickly apprehended Sunday Morning after assaulting two paramedics and pulling a pistol on them.

According to County Police Radio Traffic, an ambulance crew requested assistance shortly before Noon at 743 Looney Rd. in Coosa. They were working with a patient in the ambulance when he became violent and pulled a handgun on them.

EMS was able to restrain the suspect until County Police arrived a short time later. The suspect was apprehended and the handgun recovered. It is unknown what the suspect was charged with.
