City Commission To Tackle Full Agenda
The Rome City Commission is expected to approve a resolution tonight stiffening the fines for business and homeowners who continually send false fire or police alarms through the Rome Floyd 911 Center.
Action to lift some of the tight watering restrictions is also on the agenda along with an intergovernmental agreement for maintenance of operation of the new parking deck that will go up soon on the Oostanauala downtown.
The panel will have four public hearings, two involving revisions to the Unified Land Development Code, one involving a special use permit for a duplex on Nelm St. and another involving rezoning for property on the corner of Riverside Parkway and W. 1st Street where the city’s law firm is involved in the development of a new office building and parking deck
