Trailer Burns in Armuchee

After the bulk of the severe weather had passed Floyd County, Rome Fire Units were dispatched to a trailer fire Early Friday Evening.

Rome Fire Units including Engine 8, Engine 9, Ladder 1, Car 24, and Car 25 responded to the fire in the 1000 block of Turkey Mountain Road around 7:15 PM. According to Rome Fire Radio Traffic, the home owners were not at home at the time of the fire.

Turkey Mountain Road near Kellitt Rd. was closed during the fire due to a fire supply line crossing the road.
